I studied Biochemistry and Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in 2021. As an undergraduate, I worked in Dr. Ophelia Venturelli’s lab, studying Bacillus subtilis and performing genetic engineering on the strain to build biosensors. I also performed simulations to investigate microbe interaction in synthetic microbiota. In Dr. Lau’s lab, I am interested in learning computational methods to analyze high-dimensional single-cell data and applying the computational strategies to understand colorectal cancers. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, hike, spend time with friends and families and serve in communities. I am aiming to rejoice in all things in life. Chemical and Physical Biology Program Student Award. Dean’s Award for Exceptional Achievement.
